Jo is a Chartered Physiotherapist, Sports Fitness and Pilates instructor and outdoor sports enthusiast, Jo excels in number Alpine sports, but her love for Physiotherapy and general fitness and well-being came from her childhood as a national gymnast representing Wales. With over ten years’ experience, Jo has clinical/hospital, Olympic Athlete and Alpine sporting injuries training and successful treatment delivery. Jo’s passion for helping individuals not only enables treatment of their injury, but she also focuses on re-building fitness level through a mix of specialist techniques to treat clients with a combination of physiotherapy, Pilates and more recently spinal manipulation and yoga.
Her professionalism has been driven from her own experiences and a real passion to treat the whole person, emotionally and physically whilst looking out for their well-being and providing motivation. She’s worked with Olympian and Paralympian athletes’, and is a great believer of continuing her professional development.
By keeping up with current concepts in the sporting world she has built up deeper knowledge of treatment techniques and attended many courses for further training. These include gait/running analysis; yoga, strength and conditioning; spinal manipulation and cycling analysis ready for the summer cyclists to maximise performance and reduce injuries
Jo was previously a member of REPS (the Register of Exercise Professionals), is spin qualified and experienced in developing programmes involving VIPR, TRX, Kettlebells and body weight training to maximise performance in a range of sports.
Jo has also begun BASI training in skiing and snowboarding.
